I grew up loving being in the kitchen and eating home cooked meals. My dad’s parents used to run a restaurant, so my dad passed down some of his knowledge on how to use the tools in the kitchen as well as being creative with recipes. Growing up, my family loved cooking cultural food as well as other dishes from around the world. I have a background in Biology, Education and Special Ed. I enjoy seeing the spark in the kids' eyes as they learn something new and the joy and determination as they continue to master their field. I like to spend my spare time with my family camping, biking or just being outside. I also enjoy sewing and am slowly making quilt squares that represent the National Parks we have been to.
